Hope From Hope

Steps to Salvation

A clear, Scripture-rooted walk through the Gospel — the Romans Road — showing how anyone can come to know Jesus Christ as Saviour.

The Romans Road

Seven verses that mark the way home.

Walk the Romans Road one verse at a time. Each step tells the same story Scripture has always told: a holy God, a sinful people, and a Saviour who paid it all so that whosoever will may come.

  1. Romans 3:23

    To be saved from sin

    Everyone Needs Salvation

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

  2. Romans 5:8

Christ's love proved at the cross

    Jesus Died For Our Salvation

God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

  3. Romans 6:23

    Eternal life through Christ

    Salvation Is A Gift

The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

  4. Romans 11:6

    Not by our own works

    We Are Saved By Grace

And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

  5. Romans 4:5

    Faith counted for righteousness

    Salvation Comes Through Faith

To him that … believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

  6. Romans 10:13

    Whosoever will may come

God Saves All Who Call Upon Him

Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

  7. Romans 10:9–10

    Receive Christ today

    Confess and Believe

If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. With the heart man believeth unto righteousness; with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

A Prayer of Faith

“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and that I cannot save myself. I believe You died for my sins and rose again. I now turn from my sin and trust You alone as my Saviour. Thank You for the gift of eternal life. Amen.”

A prayer does not save — Jesus does. But if you have called on Him in faith from your heart, the Bible promises you are saved. We would love to rejoice with you and help you take the next step.

Hope From Hope

An invitation from a pastor who hopes you’ll come and see.

In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

John 16:33

In this world we may hope for many things. We dare not, however, trust in many things.

We read the Scripture above and recognize exactly what Jesus was talking about. It is not hard to see a world around us that is waxing worse by the moment.

The Bible tells us that “by one man, sin entered into the world, and death by sin” — but it also tells us that salvation is offered to the world by one Man, Jesus Christ.

Our church, Still Water Christian Fellowship, is here to answer your spiritual questions. We are a Bible-believing Baptist church — a heritage traced back to the time of John the Baptist and Jesus Himself.

As Senior Pastor, I am extending the same invitation that Christ extended to His Apostles and to all whom He came across — and to me as well: “Come and see.”

I pray that you would accept this invitation, that we may share with you His offer of salvation — an offer found only in Him.

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6

May the Spirit of God convince you today of your need for the Saviour.

In Christ,

Pastor Bob Levesque
